# How do I make a payment?

With Spare, you can request and receive payments instantly by securely linking your bank account.  This is all enabled with open banking technology.

Go the **Pay** tab in the app and choose to send or request money.

You can also select Pay Bills and choose from a variety of businesses to make payments to.
